How to Add an Internal Link

An internal link is a hypertext link that links to another page on the Web site. Internal links must be to another page and not a folder.

  1. Log in as an author
  2. Search and find, or navigate to the page where you would like to add a link
  3. Click on Edit
  4. Add the text that describes or references the link
    Ex. For more information on links please visit our help page.
  5. Select the text you want to serve as the link (in the example above we would likely select "help page".
  6. Click on the Internal Link icon in the Kupu menu bar (chain icon)
  7. In the Internal Link Drawer navigate to the page you want to link to
  8. Click on the content item you want to link to
  9. The Internal Link drawer also contains a search box. To use the search box, type keywords or the title of the item and press enter. Select the item to be linked, then click OK.
  10. In the lower right corner click on OK
  11. Click on the Save button
