State Data Center and I.S.U. Publish Iowa Statistics CD

The State Data Center and Iowa State University's Office of Social and Economic Trend Analysis (SETA) have published a CD-ROM of statistics about Iowa, its counties, and its incorporated places, "Iowa by the Numbers, 2004". The CD, which is a handy compilation of public data found in multiple locations on the web, covers topics such as agriculture, business and industry, crime and safety, health and vital statistics, and travel and transportation.

"Iowa by the Numbers, 2004" comes in two versions: one with data in Excel spreadsheets and Adobe Acrobat PDF files ($30), the other with Adobe Acrobat PDF files only ($20).
