Vilsack-Pederson Inauguration Event/Iowa Authors Showcase at Babcock Miller Building (State Library)

As part of the Vilsack-Pederson Inauguration events, an Iowa Authors Showcase is planned from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, January 17 in the Ola Babcock Miller Building, home of the State Library of Iowa, E. 12th and Grand, Des Moines.

In addition, First Lady Christie Vilsack will visit from noon to 2 p.m., Lt. Gov. Sally Pederson from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. and Governor Vilsack at 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Public parking is now available in the lot directly east of the building and in the back.
