Learning assignments for selected training classes

Continuing education sponsors may award you with additional contact hours for the completion of specific learning assignments (i.e., practice, follow-up or implementation activities) following a program. For example, if the training is database searching, the sponsor may provide a practice assignment to be completed on the participant's own time. When you submit the completed learning assignment to the sponsor, the sponsor may award additional continuing education credit up to 2 X the number of instructional hours. For example, if the database training was 2 contact hours, the sponsor could award up to 4 additional contact hours for completing a learning assignment. The additional learning assignment option is at the discretion of the sponsor and will not be available for every program.
