Why do I receive two or more copies of the same item?
This usually occurs when a transaction has expired in the queue, and
the request has moved onto the next lender. The item is sent by the
first lender without a response to the SILO ILL system, so the next
lender in the queue also sends the item.
Lending libraries
should respond to requests within four working days (Monday-Friday).
Items should not be sent without first processing the transaction on
the “Lender Open” page of SILO ILL.
If you receive more than one
copy of an item, please report the problem to your Library Service
Area. One of the lending libraries may need additional training on the
SILO ILL system.
