Iowa, along with several other states, has funded a customized version of WebJunction for Iowa library staff. You’ll find links to policies and practices, technology resources, a buying guide, learning center and community center.
Of particular interest to Iowa library staff is the Learning Center. Here you can take online technology courses at no charge. According to Iowa WebJunction coordinator Sandy Dixon, State Library, “In a recent survey of Iowa library staff, 72 percent said they were interested in taking online courses in the future.” The State Library will accept the attendance certificates issued by WebJunction.
