Getting an Iowa Library Services/State Library Card

Anyone who lives in the State of Iowa may apply for an Iowa Library Services/State Library Card.

Complete the online Borrower Registration Form and click Submit. With your Iowa Library Services/State Library library card you can check out materials when you visit the State Library and use your library card number to access many Online Resources.

We encourage Iowans to use their local public library as their "home" library.
