The State Library will be conducting a series of focus groups the week of November 9 to help in the process to create a framework for the future online resource options offered by the agency.
The one-hour meetings, facilitated by State Library staff, will meet virtually via Zoom with participants that represent the broad constituency of public libraries in Iowa. Participants will be asked to consider, review, and recommend resources, and focus groups will be organized by library size to ensure equitability and the ability to focus on the needs of the communities those libraries represent.
Iowa public librarians are invited to participate in one of the meetings. Staff are welcome to attend in lieu of directors, especially if they manage the library’s online resources or regularly answer reference questions. The link below goes to a webpage for individual registrations; multiple staff may attend but should register separately.
